CoolPeel® is a light, superficial CO2 treatment delivered by the Tetra PRO that refreshes tone and texture with minimal downtime. Traditional, deeper CO2 resurfacing reaches further into the skin for more dramatic correction but requires more recovery. The same device does both — we tailor the depth to your goals.
It depends on depth. A CoolPeel® usually means a day or two of mild redness; deeper resurfacing involves several days of redness and peeling. We’ll tell you exactly what to expect for your chosen treatment at consultation.
We apply topical numbing beforehand, and ProNox™ is available for deeper treatments. Most patients describe a warm, prickling sensation that’s very manageable.
It requires extra care. Deeper CO2 carries a higher risk of pigment change in medium-to-deep skin tones, so we assess your skin carefully and often recommend a conservative CoolPeel® approach or an alternative treatment. Your provider will guide the safest option for your skin at consultation.
Skin typically looks fresher within a couple of weeks, with continued improvement over one to three months as collagen rebuilds.
Avoid sun exposure and certain active skincare before treatment, and follow a gentle recovery routine with strict SPF afterward. We provide a complete pre- and post-care plan.
